By accessing or using REVEAL, operated by Reveal Technologies LLC ("the Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using REVEAL, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Our Commitment to You

REVEAL is built for developers, not advertisers. This is the core philosophy that guides everything we do:

  • We will never monetize your data. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
  • Your data exists to benefit you. Every piece of information we collect serves one purpose: building a complete picture of who you are as a developer so you can be matched with the right opportunities.
  • We handle your information with the highest respect. Your career, skills, and professional journey deserve careful stewardship. We treat your data accordingly.
  • This platform is constructed for developers. Every feature, every analysis, every match is designed with your success in mind. Recruiters pay to access verified talent—you are the product we protect, not the product we sell.

4. Description of Service

REVEAL is an AI-powered skill verification platform that helps developers build verified professional profiles through assessments, GitHub analysis, and other tools. We connect verified developers with recruiters seeking talent.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Important: REVEAL extensively uses artificial intelligence to analyze, synthesize, and generate content. By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your information (profile data, assessments, GitHub activity) is subject to AI processing and synthesis
  • AI-generated content, including profile summaries, skill analyses, and match reasoning, will be displayed to recruiters and other users
  • While we implement measures to ensure consistent and accurate AI behavior, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated output
  • AI-generated content should be treated as a supplement to, not a replacement for, human judgment
  • We are not liable for decisions made by third parties (including recruiters) based on AI-generated content
  • You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any AI-generated content on your profile

We continuously work to improve our AI systems, but the nature of AI technology means outputs may vary and may occasionally produce unexpected results.

6. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

7. Credits and Payments

Certain features require credits. Credits are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to modify credit pricing and grant amounts at any time.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
  • Share assessment content or answers with others

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by REVEAL and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with the Service.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with and relies upon third-party services, including but not limited to:

  • Clerk for authentication and identity management
  • Stripe for payment processing
  • GitHub for code repository analysis (via GitHub Apps)
  • AI providers (such as Google and Anthropic) for content generation and analysis
  • Cloud infrastructure providers for hosting and data storage

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party services. You acknowledge that certain functionality may be affected by changes to or unavailability of these third-party services.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will receive job offers or that recruiters will contact you through our platform.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, REVEAL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless REVEAL and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Any content you submit to the Service
  • Any misrepresentation of your skills, experience, or qualifications

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Oklahoma for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

18. General Provisions

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by REVEAL.

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and REVEAL regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements between you and REVEAL.

Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
